Entergram and KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO have announced Virtual Ties: Isekaijoucho Musoukyoku, a new virtual idol training adventure game for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam. Virtual Ties: Isekaijoucho Musoukyoku will release on March 19, 2026, and the game will support English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese language options.
Virtual Ties: Isekaijoucho Musoukyoku is based on the concept of Canvas: Isekaijoucho Ikusei Keikaku, a training adventure game that was released for free on Steam as part of an April Fools’ Day project in 2024. The new title focuses on protagonist Yuu Kirishima, who produces childhood friend Sekai Minanse as the real-life virtual idol Isekaijoucho. Isekaijoucho is involved with the game’s planning, and she stars as the lead voice actor as players help her reach the top by managing her career.
The new game costs 3,960 yen (tax included) for the digital version or 4,950 yen for the Switch-exclusive physical Standard Edition (tax included). What’s more, a physical Limited Edition will be available for Switch and PC (Steam voucher included) for 9,900 yen (tax included).
KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO previously released KAMITSUBAKI ACADEMY NEWSPAPER CLUB, a new urban school adventure game set in KAMITSUBAKI CITY, on October 30 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. KAMITSUBAKI ACADEMY NEWSPAPER CLUB supports English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options on Switch and Steam.
KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO is also working with renowned indie developer Kazuhide Oka on the new “psychological space exploration adventure” game PLATONICA SPACE for PC via Steam.
