Netmarble has launched a new in-game update for Solo Leveling: ARISE featuring a collaboration with the popular fantasy manga and anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Frieren, Fern, and Stark will be introduced as three new playable SSR Hunters.
In Solo Leveling: ARISE, Frieren is a powerful water-type Mage who can unleash the Ultimate Skill “Basic Magic Attack (Zoltraak) – Ultimate.” Fern is a fire-type Mage who maximizes the amount of manga she unleashes in a single gigantic Zoltraak blast with the Ultimate Skill “Demon-killing Magic (Zoltraak) – Mighty.” Stark is a fire-type Tank with a massive axe capable of crushing enemies into the ground with the Ultimate “Lightning Strike: Annihilation.”
Each Frieren: Beyond’s Journey End Hunter comes their respective weapons from the manga and anime series, and Sung Jinwoo also gets Himmel’s SSR light-element weapon “Sword of the Hero.” Fans can also login to claim free rewards from Travel Companions! Check-In Gift Event is now live, and the collab event dungeon is now available featuring the event boss “Aura the Guillotine.”
Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE launches November 17 for PC via Microsoft Store and Steam. Deluxe Edition pre-orders on PC include three days of advanced access, starting November 14. Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. Pre-orders for Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE Deluxe Edition are available featuring early access and the Deluxe Upgrade Bundle, which includes a Sung Jinwoo-exclusive costume, profile card, facial accessory and hairstyle, and a new pet.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 premieres on January 16, 2026 at 11:00 p.m. JST on NTV’s “Friday Anime Night” programming block. The first season of the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix in the US, Canada, and Latin America. 17 episodes of the Magic of ?? mini anime episodes are streaming on YouTube as well.
