Noriyasu Agematsu is credited with the original story. UNISON / Project MiucS is credited for the original work. Masato Jinbo directs the anime at ENGI and oversees the series scripts, and Masaaki Uikawa is the character designer. Junpei Fujita, Seima Kondō, and Daisuke Horikawa compose the music at Elements Garden / Heart Company.

Additional staff members include:

  • Art Directors: Tetsuya Kusama, Atsushi Satomi
  • Background Art: Takeyuki Takahashi
  • Color Design: Aiko Matsuyama
  • Director of Photography: Atsushi Satō
  • Offline Editing: Yūji Kondō
  • Sound Director: Masanori Tsuchiya
  • Sound Effects: Rei Ueno

The anime takes place in the year 2045 in a world where songs have been banned. Instead of humans playing instruments and creating music, the “MiucS” music app handles its creation. One day, high school student Seria Aiba (voiced by Minori Fujidera) goes out with friends one day and overhears someone singing, which is prohibited. She finds out that the one singing is the “Great Ghost” of Cleopatra (voiced by Rina Hidaka), who appeared from outside Seria’s world.
