SEGA has released the “Sonic Presents: A Chao Tales Halloween” animated short in the spirit of the annual October holiday. Sonic Presents: A Chao Tales Halloween sees Sonic Chao and Shadow Chao eager to compete against Chaclon.

It’s time for spills, thrills and chills in the Chao Tales Halloween Special! The inscrutable Chaclon has appeared in the Chao Garden, and this seriously spooky Chao is creeping everybody out. The only thing Chaclon’ll budge for is a race; hungry for glory, Sonic Chao and Shadow Chao are eager to compete. They have no idea what they’re in for… Are you ready to witness the power of Chaclon?
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The digital Nintendo Switch 2 version launches in holiday 2025, while the physical copy will release in early 2026. Nintendo Switch users may upgrade to the Switch 2 version for $10.
A Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Season Pass is available now for $29.99, and it’s included with the Digital Deluxe Edition. The Season Pass includes the following DLC packs:

What’s more, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Original Soundtrack – Echoes of Dimensions launches on November 26 for 6,600 yen in Japan. The original soundtrack includes 208 tracks across four discs, with a 56-page booklet with developer comments, course introductions, and track explanations included.
