IO Interactive has released physical-only Hitman: World of Assassination 25th Anniversary Box limited edition for PlayStation 5 at select retailers for $49.99. Hitman: World of Assassination 25th Anniversary Box includes an exclusive shadowbox, a special visual for the PS5 game case, four celebrity DLCs (The Undying, The Drop, The Splitter, and The Banker), and a collectible Lenticular Art Card celebrating the franchise’s legacy.
What’s more, IO Interactive announced a special livestream on October 21 at 9:00 a.m. ET / 3:00 p.m. CET via the official Hitman Twitch channel, During the livestream, the developers will take a look back at franchise’s 25-year legacy and appearances from surprise guests.
Hitman World of Assassination is available now on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Switch 2 version includes the main campaign, Contracts mode, Escalation, and Elusive Targets. It also features the Freelancer game mode and all Hitman 2 and 3 expansion content. In total, players can expect more than 100 hours of content, along with future updates and content developed by IO Interactive.
Hitman: World of Assassination is also available on iPhone 16 models, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max; iPad Pro and iPad Air (M1 chip or later), and iPad mini (A17 Pro). Each of the game’s 24 locations are available individually for $2.99. Hitman: World of Assassination is also planned to release on Mac devices with Apple silicon.
IO Interactive’s next game, 007 First Light, will launch on March 27, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are available now for $69.99 with a free Deluxe Edition upgrade, and a Legacy Edition will be available for $299.99 featuring a Golden Gun figurine, Deluxe Edition DLC, and more. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light is a game-key card title.
