Bandai Namco announced the original soundtrack for roguelite RPG Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree will be released on October 17 on Spotify. Pre-saves for the Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree original soundtrack are now open, and registering before the end of October 16 gives users a free smartphone or PC wallpaper.
Previously, Bandai Namco released a trailer previewing Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree’s original soundtrack by renowned composer Hitoshi Sakimoto. The “Tranquil” trailer showcases some of the lo-fi beats of the Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree soundtrack, while the “Tempest” trailer previews the energetic and intense tracks of combat. What’s more, YOASOBI performs the the insert song “Seventeen.”
Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree launched on September 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree and 4/5 score, noting that the game “takes a few risks. Some pay off immensely, while others fall a bit flat. This is definitely one worth checking out if you’re looking for a fast-paced combat system with a Shinto mythology-inspired story.”
What’s more, a free Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree demo is available now featuring the game’s prologue story chapter. The demo also features four of eight playable Guardians (Rekka, Shigin, Origami, and Nishikito), the ability to take on quests, and access to Shinju Village, Dojo, and the Blacksmith.
