The official website for Warner Bros. Japan and STUDIO4°C’s anime film adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka and Yoshitoshi ABe’s All You Need Is Kill light novel confirms a January 9, 2026 premiere across 10 theaters in Japan. The anime film’s full trailer, key visual and theme song “Tsuretette” by AKASAKI were also revealed.
What’s more, All You Need Is Kill is an official selection and a nominee for the “Anima’t Selection” of the 58th Sitges – International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia, which runs from October 9 to 19 in Spain.

The All You Need Is Kill novel was published by Shueisha in 2004. In 2009, Viz Media acquired the series and began publishing it in English. A manga adaptation by Takeshi Obata and Ryōsuke Takeuchi was released in January 2014.
