Pokémon TCG Pocket Reveals Wonder Pick Event and New Updates

Shaymin and Absol will get new promo cards in the Wonder Pick Event.

The Pokémon Company has unveiled new updates for Pokémon TCG Pocket, as well as a new wonder pick event. The upcoming updates will add a new share feature, an expanded range of tradable cards, and improvements to the wonder pick event. 

The new wonder pick event will highlight Shaymin and Absol, who both will get their own promo cards. This event will last from October 12 to October 22, and alongside it, a bonus week will last until October 18. During the bonus event, you can earn rewards such as pack hourglasses and shop tickets. Plus, during the wonder pick event, some wonder picks will allow you to peek at a card before drawing. 

Later in the month, to commemorate the game’s anniversary, Pokémon TCG Pocket will add new updates. With these updates, you will be able to give ♢ to ♢♢♢♢ rarity cards to friends, you can send one card to each of your friends each day, you can trade cards from even the most recent booster packs, and cards from the latest expansion that you have not obtained will appear more often. Further, the number of cards you own will be displayed on each card in wonder pick.

Later this week, Pokémon Legends: Z-A will launch October 16 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A will cost $59.99. Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition costs $69.99. Further, the upgrade pack will cost $9.99. Fans can also look forward to the new Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A featuring the mythical Pokémon Hoopa. In the new DLC, Pokémon Legends Z-A players can discover new Mega Evolutions, including Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y.
