The digital version of 2025’s 46th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine confirmed that a TV anime adaptation of Shun Numa’s Super Psychic Policeman Chojo (Chōjun! Chōjō Senpai) manga is in the works. The Super Psychic Policeman Chojo anime will premiere in 2026, and a new teaser visual and the anime’s staff were revealed alongside an illustration by Numa.
Junichi Yamamoto is directing the anime at Arvo Animation. Hayashi Mori is supervising and writing the series scripts, and Masakatsu Sasaki is the character designer. The cast of the anime was not revealed yet.
VIZ Media and Shueisha’s MANGA Plus service started publishing chapters of the Super Psychic Policeman Chojo manga simultaneously with the Japanese release in February 2024. Fans around the world can read the manga series in English on MANGA Plus.
