Bandai Namco and Arc System Works announced Dragon Ball FighterZ DLC character Goku (SS4, DAIMA) is launching in spring 2026. The surprise announcement was made at EVO France 2025.
Before Goku (SS4, DAIMA) arrives, Bandai Namco is hosting a massive sale on Dragon Ball FighterZ across all platforms, with saving as big as 84%. What’s more, a new Dragon Ball FighterZ balance update launches on October 12. The update brings “strategic depth to Z Reflect,” and full patch notes will be available on release day.
SS4 Goku from Dragon Ball Daima is currently playable in Dragon Ball: Sparking ZERO with the Dragon Ball DAIMA: Character Pack 2 DLC, which launched on September 24 alongside a free content update featuring the “First Demon World Stage”. Dragon Ball DAIMA: Character Pack 2 includes six new playable characters: Goku (Mini), Super Saiyan 4; Goku (DAIMA), Super Saiyan 4; Vegeta (DAIMA), Super Saiyan 3; Majin Duu; Third Eye Gomah; and Giant Gomah.
All 20 episodes of the Dragon Ball Daima anime series are streaming on Crunchyroll and Netflix with English subs and dubs. The English dub for the anime is streaming in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
Lastly, Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam worldwide.
