Yen Press announced a partnership with Tapas to release its light novels on the platform. Starting this month, Tapas users will have access to the first five “episodes” of each series for free, along with an option to pay to unlock the rest or wait for free access. What’s more, episodes will launch daily for each series.
The following series from Yen Press will be added to Tapas first:
- The Eminence in Shadow by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrator Tōzai
- Overlord by Kugane Maruyama and illustrator so-bin
- Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrator Shinichirou Otsuka
- The Summer Hikaru Died by Mio Nukaga with original story by Mokumokuren
- That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime by Fuse and illustrator Mitz Vah
Daisuke Aizawa’s The Eminence in Shadow light novel series debuted in 2018. Currently, Kadokawa is working on the new anime movie The Eminence in Shadow Lost Echoes. Fans may also watch the first two seasons of The Eminence in Shadow on HIDIVE right now.
