Capcom has announced that pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem will open on October 29. In addition, on the same day pre-orders open, a new video celebrating the Resident Evil franchise will be released, but it will not feature any new Resident Evil Requiem gameplay.
Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, and the game has already surpassed two million wishlists. This past June, we had the opportunity to experience hands-off gameplay of Resident Evil Requiem at Summer Game Fest.
In Resident Evil Requiem, protagonist Grace Ashcroft, an employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is set to journey back to where it all began: Raccoon City. Players will have the option of choosing between first and third-person perspectives, which will allow for two completely different horror experiences.
