The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Wookjakga’s A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special (Kikansha no Mahō wa Tokubetsu Desu) Korean web comic released a new trailer, confirming that A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2 premieres in 2026. Crunchyroll will stream A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2, as previously confirmed at New York Comic Con 2025.
A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special first premiered on October 7, 2023 across various TV stations in Japan. All 12 episodes of the first season were streamed on Crunchyroll as well. Arvo Animation produced the first season with Taichi Kawaguchi serving as director. Takamitsu Kono handled the series composition, and Hiromi Kato is the character designer. FLOW performs the opening theme “GET BACK for the first season, with Momosumomosu performing the ending theme “6 no Naderu.”
