Morihito Otogi is living a peaceful, normal life attending high school until one day, his father reveals that his childhood friend, Nico Wakatsuki, is set to finally return from her training as a witch. Not only is she set to return, but Morihito is tasked with being her bodyguard, as a catastrophic event involving Nico has been foretold.
