Arc System Works announced a new update for Guilty Gear Strive launches on October 9 with new Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration content to follow up on the release of DLC character Lucy. The Digital Figure mode will now include Lucy, and some of the Guilty Gear Strive characters will also receive free Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration colors. The update will also add Brazilian Portuguese language support.
What’s more, fans can enter the Digital Figures contest for a chance to win an exclusive 2026 calendar featuring the winning images. To enter, fans must follow @GUILTYGEAR_PR on X (formerly Twitter), uploading their entry with the hashtag #GGSTPhotoContest. The contest will begin on October 8 at 8:29 p.m. PDT / 11:29 p.m. EDT and end on October 25 at 8:29 p.m. PDT / 11:29 p.m. EDT. Winners will be announced at a later date on the game’s official website.
Arc System Works previously released the Guilty Gear Strive RISE AND ROCK select album on various music streaming and distribution services. RISE AND ROCK follows up after ECHO OF THE RULERS, which featured a selection of character themes with characters involved in the Guilty Gear Strive Dual Rulers anime.
Guilty Gear Strive is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. The Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers is streaming on Crunchyroll. Ulma sound junction performed the opening theme song “AXCLUSION,” and Nowlu performed the ending theme song “Arika (Location).”
