Digital Extremes has announced another new update coming to Warframe, known as “The Vallis Undermind.” The update releases on October 15 and will add the 62nd Warframe, known as Nokko.
The free update welcomes new and returning players with an early game cinematic Quest, The Teacher. Nokko is themed around mushrooms and allows players to “spread mischief in combat by throwing mushrooms that periodically release poisonous spores upon enemies, grow mushrooms that periodically release a radial pulse buffing allies’ defences, transform into a baby mushroom Sprodling to heal rapidly while remaining untargetable and putting nearby enemies to sleep with drowsy spores, or unleash a ballistic mushroom that explosively bounces off whatever it touches.”
Additionally, there’s a new “fungal-rich” environment called The Deepmines. There’s also a new rework for Oberon which will launch. The rework will allow Oberon to take advantage of a refined passive ability and improved healing with streamlined support options. He can also use a boost to the Reckoning ability’s overall damage impact. Further, a new protoframe will release alongside the upcoming “The Old Peace” update.
