Square Enix released a new trailer for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake highlighting the remake’s new content, including the explorable seabed area in Dragon Quest II. In the seabed, players will find the city of Almeha, a mysterious ship, treasure vault, mermaid sanctuary, “Memories of the World”, and much more.
As shown in the “New Content” trailer, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake players can also collect new items called scrolls, which are obtained from treasure chests and other sources in the games. Teachings contained in these scrolls can only be learned by certain characters. Players can also collect the Sun, Star, Moon, Water, and Soul sigils in both games to gain various effects, which are activated in battle when certain conditions are met.
