2025’s 43rd issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that Sakamoto Days is getting a live-action film adaptation. The Sakamoto Days live-action film is planned to premiere in Japan during Golden Week (late-April to early-May) in 2026.
Sakamoto Days Part 2 premiered on July 14 on Netflix. Rock band Kroi performs the opening theme song “Method,” and go!go!vanillas perform the ending theme song “Dandelion.”
Masaki Watanabe directs the ongoing anime at TMS Entertainment. Taku Kishimoto oversees the series scripts, and Yō Moriyama is the character designer. Kōki Uchiyama plays the role of Gaku in Sakamoto Days Part 2 alongside Hisako Kanemoto as Nao Toramaru, Tomoaki Maeno as Jōichiro Kaji, and Tatsumaru Tachibana as Shinaya.
