Publisher Red Dunes Games and ACQUIRE have revealed new side-scrolling pixel action adventure anomaly hunting game Monster Eater and new side-scrolling time-loop spy action adventure game Hamrazu:Re. Both Monster Eater and Hamrazu:Re are coming soon to PC via Steam and “other platforms,” and the games will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25 to 28 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

Here’s an overview of each new title, via Gematsu (2):

Monster Eater

Monster Eater

In a city haunted by urban legends, anomalies lurk in the shadows. To survive, you must hunt them—or be consumed.

This is a city where urban legends come to life.

Exorcist Holo, who devours anomalies and makes their powers her own, arrives in this town at the request of Miya, a shrine maiden determined to save it from the strange phenomena plaguing its streets.

Clues lie in the forum “ParanormalPhenomena.com.”

Why does Holo devour the anomalies? Why does the message board exist?

Defeat the anomalies, seize their power, and choose the future.

Hamrazu:Re

A time loop begins aboard a train bound for destiny. Each rewind uncovers new secrets, but the clock is always ticking.

In an alternate early 20th century, a hundred years of peace has endured. To mark this milestone, the Global Peace Summit is held aboard the transcontinental sleeper train the Azure Express.

Then a bomb threat reaches Chairwoman Aalia. In secret, she summons a spy, Kai Tokito, disguised as a travel magazine journalist. Into his hands she entrusts a mysterious blue gem with the power to rewind time.

As the clock ticks toward destruction, each loop brings new encounters with the train’s colorful passengers, turning chance meetings into newfound abilities and vital clues that guide him towards the truth.

When the truth comes to light, Kai’s choice will decide the future. Can he master the power of the time loop to save not just the passengers, but the world itself?

With the power to rewind time, a spy dares to change the train’s fate.

And so a time-loop spy action adventure begins.
