Marvelous announced that STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar has surpassed 500,000 copies sold worldwide for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The sales update includes physical shipments and digital copies of STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar sold worldwide.

STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar launched on August 27 for $49.99 on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) and $59.99 on Nintendo Switch 2. Physical copies are available at participating retailers and the Marvelous Online Store. Final Weapon previously reviewed STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar and gave it a 4.5 out of 5 score, noting that the game is “much more than just a simple remaster of the original on Nintendo DS.”
Before launch, Marvelous announced the new Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC for STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar, which includes a new in-game sweater, beanie and glider. All net proceeds of the new DLC will directly support the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) and their conservation efforts.
The Pine Hoverfly Outfit Set DLC is a continuation of the partnership between Marvelous Europe and RZSS, which began in 2020 with the help of Jellymedia. This partnership helps support RZSS’ efforts to reestablish the pine hoverfly, which is designated as a “critically endangered” insect. The pine hoverfly is a pollinator and waste recycler in its ecosystem in Scotland, and for the first time in eight years, adult pine hoverflies are now reproducing in the wild.
