Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days Anime Reveals Ending Theme Song

Happinet released the second promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Yui Tamura’s Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days (Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi) manga. Additionally, a new cast member was introduced to the anime’s all-star cast. The promotional video previews the ending theme song “Better Off” by iScream.

  • Rie Takahashi as Izumi
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Mei
  • Ryōta Iwasaki as Tanaka
  • Konomi Kohara as Okamoto (new)

Shinpei Matsuo is directing the anime at Ajia-do. Deko Akao is writing the script, while Toshihisa Kaiya handles character design. Hideakira Kimura is composing the music, and Yayoi Tateishi is the anime’s sound director. Bit Groove Promotion is responsible for sound production, while Nippon TV Music handles music production. FANTASTICS will perform the opening theme song “POP LIFE.”

Yui Tamura initially released the manga in June 2021 via Kodansha’s Comic Days. The most recent volume was released on Wednesday, March 12. The anime is scheduled for release on September 30.

The comedy manga focuses on Tsuyoshi Yano, the perennially unlucky high school boy, and Kiyoko Yoshida, a classmate who constantly worries about him. After seeing Yano come into school injured, Yoshida begins following him out of concern. She observes his day-to-day unlucky life and resolves to support him.
