Akatsuki Games has revealed that KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME has surpassed two million downloads across the Apple App Store and Google Play. In addition to this, the game reached the #1 ranking for RPGs on the App Store, as well as the top 3 for adventure and free-to-play games. This comes just after launch, with the game having only been out since August 31.
KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME offers three different story modes, allowing players to relive or experience the story for the very first time in different ways. Not only is the story from the anime and manga here, but there is also an original story exclusive to the game. Gameplay follows turn-based combat, requiring both strategy and skill as you fight against deadly Kaiju in Japan.
