SEGA has released the version 2.0 update for the global version of Persona5: The Phantom X on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam. The update adds Chapter 3: Unconditional Love Phase 1, support character Riko Tanemura (Code name: Wind), the explorable Kichijoji area, and much more.
To celebrate the launch of version 2.0, Persona5: The Phantom X players can log in to the game for seven consecutive days by October 22 at 6:59 p.m. PDT / 9:59 p.m. EDT to receive 20 Platinum Tickets and 20 Platinum Milicoins. Players will also receive 1,000 Meta Jewels and 60 Phantom Thief Cognitite Shards, which are new items that can Awaken 5-star Phantom Thieves like Ren Amamiya, Yui, and Minami Miyashita.
Persona5: The Phantom X Version 2.0 Main Additions
Players are introduced to Riko Tanemura during Chapter 3, as she stands up with the protagonist and their allies to fight against “distortions born of righteousness.” Riko can act as the party’s commander and strategist. She can lower an enemy’s Down Points without the need to target an enemy’s Weakness, and at the start of battle, she boosts the entire party’s HP, Attack, and Defense. She can also increase All-Out Attack damage by up to 60%.
The Chapter 3: Unconditional Love Release Event is now available, allowing players to earn rewards by playing the new content and completing goals before October 22 at 6:59 p.m. PDT / 9:59 p.m. EDT. These rewards include up to 1,280 Meta Jewels, event-exclusive Mizuhiki Knots, and other rewards. Mizuhiki Knots may be collected to acquire and fully upgrade the Riko Tanemura-only 4★ weapon Red Plum Blossom.
Kichijoji, which was also featured in Persona 5 Royal, has been added as an explorable area with part-time jobs, new characters, and much more. What’s more, the new 5-star Phantom Thief: Ayaka Sakai is featured in the Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts, where the appearance rate for certain Phantom Thieves is increased. An exclusive weapon can be obtained through Arms Deals: Silent Pistol as well, and players can play through her Synergy Story.
When players reach Player Level 20, they can take advantage of the new Tasks feature, where you can send eligible allies to complete Tasks and receive rewards after a set amount of time. Requests range from daily to weekly with different requirements and rewards. These rewards include Meta Jewels, Thief’s Cognitite Shards, and “something special.”
Persona5: The Phantom X is available now for Android, iOS, and PC (Steam) in the west and Japan, and the version 2.0 website is now live. Lastly, console versions are being planned.
