The official website for P.A Works. upcoming original anime Dusk Beyond the End of the World released its first promotional video along with a new key visual. The video revealed that the anime will release on September 25 with episode 0, the prologue. Additionally, the video also previewed the opening theme song, “Platform,” by Uru.

The cast and staff of the Dusk Beyond the End of the World anime include:
- Shūichirō Umeda as Akira Himegami
- Yui Ishikawa as Yugure
- Ai Kayano as Towasa Ōmaki
- Miyu Tomita as Amoru (new)
Naokatsu Tsuda is directing the anime at P.A. Works and is also handling the series scripts. Popular Mangaka Midori Tayama is handling the character design, and Yoshiko Saitō is adapting the designs for animation. Masahiro Tokuda is composing the music. “Project FT” has been credited for the original work.
