During Gamescom 2025, Konami revealed the “Guy Savage” Nightmare Mode will return in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The Guy Savage mode was developed by PlatinumGames, the developer behind Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Bayonetta, and Ninja Gaiden 4, to name a few. Guy Savage is unlocked by triggering the nightmare sequence in gameplay or clearing story mode for the first time.
Moreover, the new Fox Hunt online mode for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available in an update in fall 2025. Fox Hunt offers the “camouflage and hide-and-go-seek” gameplay that players expect, with some unique elements to Metal Gear.
Previously, Konami released the updated opening movie for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The opening movies features visuals that combine cutscenes from the game and abstract depictions of a snake skeleton. Norihiko Hibino wrote the main theme, simply titled “Snake Eater,” and Cynthia Harrell performed it.
