During Gamescom 2025, Konami released the launch trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, giving fans one last preview for the game. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Moreover, the new Fox Hunt online mode for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available in an update in fall 2025. Fox Hunt offers the “camouflage and hide-and-go-seek” gameplay that players expect, with some unique elements to Metal Gear. More details about Fox Hunt will be revealed at a later date.
Previously, Konami released the updated opening movie for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The opening movies features visuals that combine cutscenes from the game and abstract depictions of a snake skeleton. Norihiko Hibino wrote the main theme, simply titled “Snake Eater,” and Cynthia Harrell performed it.
