Team Cherry announced Hollow Knight: Silksong will release on September 4 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive Hollow Knight: Silksong at no additional cost on September 4.
Moreover, Hollow Knight: Silksong supports up to 120 FPS in a dedicated 120Hz mode in the Nintendo Switch 2 version. When docked on Switch 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong players can toggle a higher frame rate mode for displays that support 120Hz.
What’s more, Hollow Knight: Silksong is playable at Gamescom 2025 on the new ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld devices at the ASUS ROG booth. Fans can head to Nintendo’s booth to play it on Nintendo Switch 2.
