This morning, Sony Electronics announced brand-new products for its INZONE line, which focuses on gaming. A total of six new products were revealed, and there’s a ton to go over, especially if you’re looking for new high-end gaming accessories. Similar to the previous INZONE products, this new line has also been developed in cooperation with Fnatic. You can take a look below for in-depth dives into each of these new products, including pricing and pre-order information.
The New INZONE H9 II Gaming Headset
The INZONE H9 II Gaming Headset is the successor to the Sony INZONE H9, which was originally released in 2022. This new model builds greatly upon that model, with brand-new drivers that are the same as Sony’s premium WH-1000XM6 over-ear headphones. This results in better bass reproduction, clearer enemy footsteps, and improved noise-canceling performance. Additionally, support for 360 Spatial Sound is available through Sony’s app, and you have three different EQs that can be accessed from either the INZONE Hub or the Sound Connect app, allowing PS5 and Nintendo Switch players to change EQ settings.
In addition to these features, the H9 II features a unidirectional Super Wide Band microphone that is detachable from the headset itself. This way, you can deliver clear communication in multiplayer games but have the option to remove the microphone if you don’t need it. An LED indicator is also present. Connection options have also expanded, with support for Bluetooth Classic & LE Model, in addition to wired 3.5mm audio.
Finally, the INZONE H9 II is significantly lighter than its predecessor, weighing in at 273g with the microphone and 260g without. This is in part due ot the new headband design, which aims to keep stability but offer a customizable and evenly distributed experience. The H9 II is priced at $349.99, and pre-orders are now open.
INZONE E9 In-Ear Monitor for Gaming
Next up, the Sony INZONE E9 In-Ear Monitor for Gaming is aimed to provide the best-tuned sound for FPS games while isolating noise and being comfortable. This product was designed in collaboration with Fnatic’s Apex and Valorant teams in particular, leading to a structure for eSports and the Ear Hanger design.
To provide noise isolation, the E9 In-Ear Monitor for Gaming features a fully sealed housing, which was made possible with Sony’s first-ever completely closed structure. This makes a huge difference as no pathways for outside air are present. You can also switch between two different earbud tips, depending on your ear shape and fit.
Inside the box, you’ll find the INZONE E9, a 3.5mm plug and a USB-C dongle, and a carrying case for easy transportation. The Sony INZONE E9 In-Ear Monitor for Gaming is priced at $149.99, and you can pre-order it now at either Amazon or Sony.
INZONE KBD-H75
The first INZONE keyboard is officially here in the form of the INZONE KBD-H75. This 75% keyboard features magnetic hall-effect switches across the board that allow you to customize actuation and reset point, which can level up your abilities in many games. A per-key switch adjustment is available to finely tune specific keys as you wish. This includes the rapid trigger feature, allowing you to toggle input off or on without needing to return the keys to the reset position.
The polling rate is up to 8000Hz, so you can ensure accurate signal delivery overall. Sony decided on 75% through discussion with Fnatic, as it was determined that the keyboard can be more compact than an 80% model, yet feature essential keys like the function line. A volume knob is also present at the top right of the device for audio adjustment and muting.
With an Aluminum CNC Build, the INZONE KBD-H75 aims to provide a premium feel and design to players while still retaining key features for pro PC players. This keyboard is set to retail for $299.99.
INZONE Mouse-A
The fourth new INZONE product is none other than the INZONE Mouse-A, which has been designed to offer both high sensitivity and low latency. A custom 3950IZ sensor allows for a max DPI of 30,000, with an optical switch used to register input to ensure no false double-clicks. Additionally, the Mouse-A has a polling rate of 8000Hz, meaning it sends information to the PC at an extremely fast rate.
Considering this is a wireless mouse, Sony put clear emphasis on the battery life of this unit. The INZONE Mouse-A is rated for up to 90 hours per charge, with a quick-charge feature available that offers 5 minutes of charge for 10 minutes of play. It only takes 1.5 hours to completely charge the device.
Further, the Mouse-A is lightweight, sitting at just 48.4g. Like other products in this line, you can customize your experience with the INZONE Hub app or choose to utilize the new web version. The INZONE Mouse-A is set to be priced at $149.99.
Two New Gaming Mousepads
Finally, two new mousepads joining the INZONE line were also revealed. These are the INZONE Mat-F and INZONE Mat-D. The Mat-F is a control-type mousepad, aimed to be used for tactical FPS games. A 6mm thick high-friction SlimFlex base is utilized to make this happen. On the other hand, the Mat-D is a speed-type mousepad, which is great for battle royale games. A lower friction force of 42.5gf makes for quick glide and high sensitivity play.
Both mousepads are only available in one large size, which is approximately 480mm x 400mm. Additionally, you will find a stitched edge on each model, allowing the surface to be higher than the edge of the mousepad. The INZONE Mat-F is priced at $59.99, while the INZONE Mat-D is priced at $34.99.
Both the INZONE H9 II and IZONE E9 In-Ear Monitor for Gaming are available to pre-order now at Amazon and Sony. The rest of the new INZONE line will open for pre-orders at a later date.
