Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches on September 25 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The digital Nintendo Switch 2 version is set to launch in holiday 2025, while the physical copy will release in early 2026. Nintendo Switch users will have the ability to upgrade to the Switch 2 version for $10.
Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, and Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon are among the first three DLC characters that will be released for free in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. A collaboration between Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Nickelodeon was also announced, featuring characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In addition, there will be paid DLC characters, thanks to various editions of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and the Season Pass. Sonic the Werehog is a pre-order bonus, and Steve, Alex, and the Creeper from Minecraft are other new additions with the Season Pass, for example. What’s more, the Nickelodeon collaboration DLC will be available with the Season Pass and/or Digital Deluxe Edition purchases.
