The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Game Magazine’s The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jiken-bo) mystery game has been updated, confirming that the anime will premiere in January 2026. A new teaser trailer was also released, revealing the anime’s main staff members.
My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! director Keisuke Inoue is directing the anime at studio SILVER LINK. Inoue is also co-writing The Case Book of Arne with Murasaki, the game’s original scenario writer and production. Trigun Stampede character designer Akiko Satō is also designing the characters of The Case Book of Arne, and she’s also the chief animation director of the anime. What’s more, Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music of the anime.
Harumurasaki created The Case Book of Arne and launched it on Game Magazine’s website in November 2017. A manga adaptation was launched by Soraho Ina in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine in 2018. Thus far, Kadokawa published four compiled book volumes of the manga series.
The game’s story focuses on the partnership between vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a noble family who loves vampires. The pair investigate murder cases that may or may not involve vampires.
