Bandai Namco Filmworks confirmed that the anime adaptation of Shisui Meikyou and tef’s Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members light novel premieres on October 3. Additionally, a new key visual was released along with new cast and staff announcements. The anime will also hold an advance screening of its first three episodes on September 7
The cast and staff of the Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon anime includes:

Shisui Meikyou launched the light novel series in April 2020, the 12th volume of the series was released on April 18.Takashi Ohmae released the manga adaptation in May 2021 on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket.
