SEGA and ATLUS confirmed Persona 3 Reload has surpassed 2 million copies sold, and to celebrate the milestone, a new illustration by Persona series character designer Shigenori Soejima was released. Persona 3 Reload is bound to exceed the 2 million sales mark, as the turn-based RPG remake is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23.
Pre-orders and wishlisting for Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch 2 are now available. Those who pre-order the game will receive a bonus Persona 4 Golden BGM (Background Music) Set, only available before launch. Moreover, the Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast confirmed that Episode Aigis and the Expansion Pass DLC will also be heading to the platform as a separate purchase.
The hit turn-based RPG launched across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in February 2024, notably skipping Nintendo Switch. That has finally been rectified with today’s announcement, as Nintendo Switch 2 players can enjoy the remade and rebuilt version of Persona 3 in just a few short months.
In our 5/5 review, we wrote, “Persona 3 Reload is a JRPG masterpiece. It has an incredibly moving story about the value of life, a fun gameplay loop, great graphics, dynamic characters, and a satisfying conclusion. Plus, with the short playtime, it is not as intimidating as other games in the genre, with very little filler padding the runtime. While the remake may seem simple compared to other recent examples, Reload is a reminder that Persona 3 is still relevant even after eighteen years.”
