Hidden NY and SEGA have teamed up to launch a special-edition capsule featuring merchandise that celebrates the 25th anniversary of Jet Set Radio. The limited-run collection will debut exclusively via hiddenppf.com on August 1 with never-before-seen Jet Set Radio artwork on apparel and accessories that channel the spirit of Tokyo streetwear.
During the special occasion, Hidden will be opening its web shop for two full weeks, giving fans an exclusive and only window to purchase the Jet Set Radio 25th anniversary merchandise and apparel. Members of the Hidden community will receive early access to the release alongside exclusive merchandise, and fans can stay tuned for product drops and giveaways by following @hidden.ny and @hiddenppf on Instagram.
Previously, SEGA partnered with Brain Dead Studios and music platform NTS for a special Jet Set Radio 25th anniversary event from June 13 to 20 at Brain Dead Studios in Los Angeles, CA. The event featured exclusive merchandise, a gaming lounge, art gallery, live music, canvas tagging wall, custom airbrush merchandise, and much more.
As a reminder, a new Jet Set Radio game is currently in development at SEGA. SEGA described the new game as “counter-culture” with a Tokyo street open world. The game will encourage fans to “experience the ‘rebellion’ movement that feels free in a suffocating society. Make friends, increase your fans, and create a movement!”
