Happinet released the first promotional video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Yui Tamura’s Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days (Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi) manga. Additionally, a key visual was released along with information on the staff and cast. The promotional video previewed the opening theme song “POP LIFE” by FANTASTICS.

Shinpei Matsuo is directing the anime at Ajia-do. Deko Akao is writing the script, while Toshihisa Kaiya handles character design. Hideakira Kimura is composing the music, and Yayoi Tateishi is the anime’s sound director. Bit Groove Promotion is responsible for sound production, while Nippon TV Music handles music production.
Yui Tamura initially released the manga in June 2021 via Kodansha’s Comic Days. The most recent volume was released on Wednesday, March 12. The anime is scheduled for release this October.
The comedy manga focuses on Tsuyoshi Yano, the perennially unlucky high school boy, and Kiyoko Yoshida, a classmate who constantly worries about him. After seeing Yano come into school injured, Yoshida begins following him out of concern. She observes his day-to-day unlucky life and resolves to support him.
