The World Ends With You character designer and illustrator Gen Kobayashi shared new artwork to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the original game and the 4th anniversary of NEO: The World Ends With You. Kobayashi also thanked The World Ends With You fans for their continued support on X (formerly Twitter).
NEO: The World Ends with You is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Epic Games Store. Final Weapon gave NEO: The World Ends with You a 4.5 out of 5 score, stating that “a stellar combat system, engaging story, relatable characters and rich content offering make this the perfect sequel to the cult classic The World Ends with You. This is a must-buy and play for fans of the original game and JRPG fans alike.”
This past May, NEO: The World Ends With You director Tatsuya Kando announced that he’s left Square Enix after 29 years. Aside from directing The World Ends with You and NEO: The World Ends with You, Kando was also the director of Final Fantasy: All The Bravest and served as an animation supervisor for various Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games.
REYNATIS is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the west. Before its launch in September 2024, Final Weapon reviewed REYNATIS and gave it a 3.5 out of 5 score. REYNATIS also collaborated with NEO: The World Ends With You for in-game quests and bonuses.
