SEGA and ATLUS announced Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has surpassed one million copies sold as of July 28, 2025. In addition, the Shin Megami Tensei V series, which includes the original turn-based RPG and Vengeance, surpassed two million copies sold.
To celebrate the sales milestone, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance character designer Masayuki Doi shared a new illustration via the official MegaTen X (formerly Twitter) account:
This past November 2024, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance update 1.03 released with a new demon and sub quest, along with six additional Demon Navigators. These demon navigators were decided from polls for the top three demons from the west and Japan, respectively. The update also applies various bug fixes and improvements to the game.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance launched on June 14, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A free Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance demo is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The game is also backwards compatible on Nintendo Switch 2.
