Ahead of the game’s launch next month, Techland has launched its Castor Woods campaign for Dying Light: The Beast, which releases on August 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Castor Woods campaign centers around Bober the Beaver, who acts as a mascot of Dying Light: The Beast.
“While working on the world of Dying Light: The Beast, it was important to us that it be filled with hidden stories and small, interesting details that make the world feel more lively and immersive,” said franchise director Tymon Smektala in a press release. “At one point, our artists pitched the idea of including beavers in the worldbuilding – and we loved it. Lastly, Dying Light: The Beast marks the return of Kyle Crane (voiced again by Roger Craig Smith) as the protagonist. In Dying Light: The Beast, players will explore a new open world region, with new abilities, enemies, weapons, vehicles, a new skill tree, and four-player co-op with shared progression.
