Best Buy confirmed that Nintendo Switch 2 restocks are on the way alongside the launch of Donkey Kong Bananza on July 17. The restocks at Best Buy will be in-store only, and all Best Buy stores in the US will have limited quantities available. What’s more, the new Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo will be available for $29.99 at retail alongside the launch of Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99). Two days after launch on July 19, Best Buy will be hosting GameTruck theaters on Saturdays through August 16.
As previously detailed, Donkey Kong has several abilities to challenge the Void Company and get to the center of the planet. For example, he can dive punch, hand slap, surf, and perform many maneuvers while destroying and traversing obstacles in the way. Additionally, Donkey Kong Bananza has several modes. This includes co-op play that you can do via GameShare or locally. The mode allows one player to play as Pauline and unleash projectiles of destruction using the mouse functionality, and you can also carve items from stone in the DK Artist mode.
