Tetsuhiro Koshita’s Honō no Tōkyūji Dodge Danpei manga was published in Shogakukan’s Monthly CoroCoro Comic magazine from 1989 to 1995. The manga produced 18 volumes. It also got an anime series that aired from 1991 to 1992 for 47 episodes.

The Honō no Tōkyūjo: Dodge Danko sequel made its debut on the Weekly CoroCoro Comic website in November 2022. Shogakukan just published the fifth volume in January and will release the sixth volume on August 28.

The original manga focused on the journey of Danpei. However, the sequel will follow the adventures of Danpei’s daughter as she sets out to create the strongest team and keep her father’s legacy alive.
