2K and Gearbox has released a new gameplay overview and cinematic trailer for one of the new vault hunters in Borderlands 4: Vex the Siren. The trailers focus on the character’s backstory and combat capabilities.
The character short highlights how Vex awoke to a Siren powers: during a Mercenary Sale on “Purple Friday,” Vex, who was a retail worker at the time, experienced such stress that she killed everyone in the shop using her new abilities. As such, she chose to become a vault hunter so she could avoid retail work at all costs.
Her abilities allow her to summon apparitions to fight alongside her, fire elemental orbs, and enlist the help of her animal buddy, a Phase Phamiliar. More gameplay overview trailers and cinematic shorts will release for the other vault hunters (Rafa, Amon, Harlowe) soon. Check out the two new trailers for Vex the Siren in Borderlands 4 below:
Pre-orders for Borderlands 4 are available now featuring the Gilded Glory Pack, which includes one Vault Hunter Skin, one Weapon Skin, and an ECHO-4 Drone Skin. There are also three editions available to order. This includes the Standard Edition ($69.99), Deluxe Edition ($99.99), Super Deluxe Edition ($129.99). Further, the editions will feature content such as the Vault Hunter Pack, which includes new story content and two post-launch vault hunters, new map regions, new gear, new side missions, and more.
Borderlands 4 will release on September 12 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will release at a later date.
