During Anime Expo 2025, WEBTOON announced that the Tower of God side story, titled Urek Mazino, will release in English on the service on July 28. The WEBTOON focuses on the backstory of the titular character.
The series initially released in Korean on Naver WEBTOON on April 28. The side story focuses on Urek Mazino’s past before he entered the Tower, plus his motivation in facing the top-ranked being, Phantaminum.

Recently, Netmarble added two new characters to Tower of God: New World in a new update. The update added XSR+ [Irregular] Urek Mazino and SSR+ [Enigmatic] Princess of Zahard, alongside several new events. The new version of Urek Mazino is based on the first time he entered the Tower in the side story. The backstory of the Princess of Zahard, as well as her real name, is unknown. What is known is her ability to take control of others.
Tower of God: New World, as well as the new update and two new characters, are available on iOS and Android. The Google Play Store describes it as follows:
