During Anime Expo 2025, Square Enix, Aniplex and studio BONES announced Hiromu Arakawa’s Yomi no Tsugai – Daemons of the Shadow Realm manga series will receive a new TV anime adaptation. The anime series will be streamed worldwide on Crunchyroll.
The main staff of Daemons of the Shadow Realm includes director Masahiro Andou, character designer Nobuhiro Arai, and music composer Kenichiro Suehiro. What’s more, a new key visual and teaser trailer were released, and the anime’s official website is now open.

Square Enix also announced a partnership with eBook store BOOK WALKER Global to digitally distribute over 300 manga titles from the Square Enix Manga imprint. This partnership includes several best-selling series, including The Apothecary Diaries, My Dress-Up Darling, and the aforementioned Daemons of the Shadow Realm manga.
