During Anime Expo 2025, Garena and Kadokawa released a new trailer for the anime adaptation of the Free Fire battle royale mobile game. The staff of the Free Fire anime was also revealed.
Ken Takahashi is directing the anime series. Candy Box is producing the anime, and Sus4 Inc. is producing the anime’s music. Kadokawa and Garena are co-producing the anime series with the Kadokawa Qingyu subsidiary as the production manager.
Free Fire released in December 2017 for Android and iOS, and the game is celebrating its eighth anniversary year with several new events. Lastly, here’s an overview of the game, via the Google Play Store:
