The Pokémon Company announced its plans for the second anniversary of Pokémon Sleep, including new in-game events and the debut of fan-favorite Pokémon from the Hoenn region. Pokémon Sleep surpassed well over 20 million downloads since the game’s launch back in 2023.
From Monday, July 7, to Monday, July 14, 2025, a Pokémon Sleep Second Anniversary Prelude Event will be held featuring Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly—the stars of last year’s First Anniversary Fest. The Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research, and players can enjoy several in-game bonuses. More information can be found at the official Pokémon Sleep website or in-game News section.
Moreover, the Second Anniversary Fest will be held from Monday, July 14, to Monday, July 28, 2025. Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip, the first partner Pokémon from the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire games, will appear in Pokémon Sleep for the first time starting at 15:00 local time on Monday, July 14. There will also be more bonuses to enjoy during this event.
The Pokémon Company and Game Freak previously announced Pokémon Legends: Z-A will launch on October 16 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Players who purchase either the physical or digital version for Nintendo Switch may upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing an upgrade pack on the Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store.
Lastly, Pokémon Sleep is available now on iOS via App Store and Android via Google Play Store.
