The BitSummit Organization Committee announced Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu and his band conTIKI will be making stage appearances at BitSummit the 13th alongside several other developers, including composer Harumi Fujita (OkanP), chiptune pioneer and Game Boy Camera creator Hirokazu “Chip” Tanaka, Clovers studio founder Hideki Kamiya, Noda Game series creator Crystal Noda, Natsu-Mon creator Kaz Ayabe, and Shibuya Scramble Stories executive producer Jiro Ishii.
Nobuo Uematsu will perform at BitSummit the 13th on Saturday, July 19, with conTIKI in his first-ever appearance at BitSummit. OkanP will perform on the BitSummit stage as well with a brand-new track. Ayabe, Kamiya, Noda, and Ishii will be on stage for developer panels. Ishii will also share a world premiere for Shibuya Scramble Stories.
Previously, the BitSummit Organization Committee has revealed the full lineup for BitSummit the 13th, which takes place at the Miyako Messe Exhibition Center in Kyoto, Japan from July 18 to July 20. There will be 120 indie games from Japan and around the world featured at BitSummit the 13th with demos and exclusive content, according to the game selection website.
In addition, tickets for BitSummit the 13th Business and General Admission Days are on sale. Business Day is set for July 18, while General Admission is set for July 19 to 20. Online ticket sales are available for Japanese residents and overseas users. The floor map for BitSummit the 13th can also be read on the official website.
