Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes revealed that DLC character Izumi will be playable at Anime Expo 2025. Anime Expo 2025 will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 3 to 6.
Under Night In-Birth Sys:Celes will release Izumi in August 2025 as the last character of the Season Pass, which likely means that Anime Expo 2025 attendees will be the first to play her. The next sneak peek for Izumi may come at EVO 2025, which will run from August 1 to 3 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes is one of the main games for the EVO 2025 lineup alongside Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Mortal Kombat 1, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and Marvel vs Capcom 2.
Additionally, Guilty Gear Strive will also have a presence at Anime Expo 2025. DLC character Lucy will be the focus of the upcoming “Guilty Gear Strive: Developer Session” panel during Anime Expo 2025 on July 4 at the Petree Hall (Los Angeles Convention Center) from 3:45 p.m. to 5:05 p.m. PT. Panels include Guilty Gear Strive producer Ken Miyauchi and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners producer Satoru Homma.
The previous update for Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, update 1.21, introduced DLC character Ogre on February 19. Moreover, the update provides balance adjustments to characters and mechanics, along with quality of life changes to multiple online and offline modes.
Lastly, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam worldwide.
