To celebrate the “Year of the Ninja,” Koei Tecmo and Omega Force will release a new update for Warriors: Abyss on July 4 featuring characters from Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden characters Ryu Hayabusa, Ayane, Rachel, and Momiji will be playable in Warriors: Abyss, and the MASTER NINJA Formal Costume Set and MASTER NINJA Legacy Costume Set will also be released as paid DLC packs. Patch notes will also be released at a later date.
Previously, the April 25 Warriors: Abyss update added the new “Depths of Torment” mode. Depths of Torment is a new high-difficulty mode that lets Warriors: Abyss players carry over their party composition from game completion. Players can earn new rewards for character development depending on the results from their Depths of Torment run.
The version 1.2.0 update for Warriors: Abyss introduced playable characters Ryza, Sophie, and Yumia from the Atelier series. Alongside the Atelier characters, Warriors: Abyss update 1.2.0 improved the game’s performance on Nintendo Switch, adds new music tracks, and applies many bug fixes.
Moreover, the new Atelier Series Vacation Costume Set and Atelier Series Academy Costume Set DLC are now available. The DLC adds new swimsuit costumes and school uniforms for Ryza, Sophie, and Yumia.
Warriors: Abyss is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Lastly, patch notes for future Warriors: Abyss updates may be read at the official website.
