Nintendo has revealed the patch notes for Mario Kart World update 1.1.2 with several bug fixes for online play, Knockout Tour, and the Dino Dino Jungle and Boo Cinema courses.

General
- Adjusted courses selected in “Random” when selecting next course in a wireless “VS Race.”
Fixed Issues
- Made readjustments to fix an issue where rate fluctuations were sometimes displayed incorrectly in “Online Play” and “Knockout Tour.”
- Fixed an issue where you sometimes can’t recover quickly after falling off the course in “Dino Dino Jungle”.
- Fixed an issue where you continually hit the wall near the finish line of “Boo Cinema” when transformed into Bullet Bill.
Nintendo previously published an extensive “Ask the Developer” interview with the development team of Mario Kart World, revealing that the game was first planned for the original Nintendo Switch. Due to hardware limitations, the project was able to be fully realized when it moved to Nintendo Switch 2 in 2020.
Lastly, Nintendo Switch 2 launched on June 5 for $449.99. A bundle is available for $499.99 featuring Mario Kart World. Mario Kart World is available separately for $79.99.
