Developer Nestopi and publisher Toei Animation revealed today that a demo for the upcoming survival adventure game Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- is available now on Steam. The title is a brand-new IP that started development in 2024, featuring popular Tokyo areas like Shinjuku and Shibuya in a pixel art style.
Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- follows Yukinori, a manager at a talent agency, and Hinagi, a nationally recognized idol. Following a shooting incident, you must both clear Yukinori’s name and save Hinagi. To do so, you’ll need to keep a low profile to avoid police suspicion while exploring Tokyo for food, drinks, and key items.
Indie studio Nestopi previously released Cabin of Shadows – Dueling Impostors –, Shore Doodle, and is currently developing Chill with You: Lo-Fi Story. Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- was announced in partnership with Toei Animation in July 2024.

“Re:VER PROJECT TOKYO” co-developed by Toei Animation and indie developer Nestopi, is a survival suspense adventure game set in modern Tokyo depicted in pixel art. Yukinori Amane who is falsely accused of a crime, uses his survival skills to evade the police and uncover the real culprit.
As a wanted man known to the public, Yukinori cannot satisfy his hunger by simply “shopping.” He must survive by finding acorns on the roadside or hamburgers in trash cans. Once his health is stable, he can work to “prove his innocence.”
Re:VER PROJECT -TOKYO- is set to launch on PC via Steam in 2025.
