CD Projekt Red announced that Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3 has been delayed to an unannounced date. Originally, the update was planned to release on June 26.
According to CD Projekt Red on X (formerly Twitter), the developers are taking more time to work on Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.3. The developers are aiming to release update 2.3 on nearly the same scope as update 2.2, so it should be a substantial release.
On June 5, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition shipped on a 64 GB game card for Nintendo Switch 2. This means players will have access to Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion from the game card itself. It is available now for $69.99 physically and digitally.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 uses a version of DLSS. The console’s Tensor Cores from NVIDIA power the DLSS. Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition utilizes the upscaling technology in four modes in handheld and docked modes, each with performance and quality variants. CD Projekt Red has not yet clarified the version of DLSS that the game will use.
Additional language packs for Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition are also available as separate optional downloads in the Nintendo eShop. The new Nintendo Switch 2 version will feature gyroscope aiming, motion controls, touch screen commands, and mouse controls.
Nintendo Switch 2 released on June 5 for $449.99. A bundle is available for $499.99 featuring Mario Kart World. Walmart, Best Buy, and Target have recently revealed new details about how in-store and online availability will function going forward. Games such as Fortnite, the upgrade packs for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and more are available now on the console.
